Biography
Jill R. Baron, M.D. is a Board Certified Family Physician, and is Board Certified in Holistic Medicine. She practices Integrative Medicine, where she combines conventional western medicine with mind-body therapies including nutrition and weight management; lifestyle counseling; stress management; and visualization and imagery.
Dr. Baron received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Princeton University and her Master's Degree in Physiology from Georgetown University. She graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and did her residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Baron is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has a degree from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is also a Certified Menopause Practitioner. She has had training in many personal growth programs and she continually attends both conventional and holistic conferences.
Dr. Baron sees herself as a "physician-coach-educator" who empowers and teaches her patients how to heal themselves. She works with her patients in a caring, compassionate, and holistic framework and treats patients with both acute and chronic conditions. She also sees patients who are well and optimizes their health in a preventive way.
